Yardi Business Analyst Jobs

On behalf of our client Affinity is searching for a Yardi Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Applications team to advance the organization’s management strategies by meeting the needs of the various business units for project and process implementation of applications, including their design, development, deployment and maintenance.

This role takes full responsibility for business analysis where the advice given, and decisions made will have a measurable impact on the profitability or effectiveness of the organisation. The Business Analyst, Enterprise Applications will help to maximize the performance of the organization through the implementation of leading-edge tools and processes. This will include analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review capabilities, workflow and process limitations.

Responsibilities

• Create training materials and conduct training sessions
• Investigate and analyze opportunities to help improve business efficiencies and maximize use of Enterprise Applications
• Create, execute, and document test cases/test scripts to validate system changes, and provide framework to support end user acceptance testing
• Coordinate, support and help business users resolve day-to-day support issues including application software and operational systems
• Assist and support project teams and business representatives throughout projects
• Lead and/or assist with the creation of business cases, ROIs, and other project related documentation, as required, with input from key business stakeholders
• Create and maintain user guides, manuals and other related materials
• Elicit, analyze, validate and document business requirements, processes and business rules to drive business solutions
• Facilitate and/or assist with the system selection process and support subsequent related activities, including implementation and sustainment
• Support technology design and re-design activities through interpretation and clarification of business requirements and processes and assess impacts of changes to other functional processes and systems

• Change management experience an asset
• Process re-engineering experience an asset
• Detail oriented with superior documentation skills
• Exceptional communications skills
• Proven ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships at all levels of an organization
• Adaptable to constant change
• Strong understanding of the real estate business and key business processes
• Experience with Elevate and other applications would be an asset
• Strong facilitation and collaboration skills
• Ability to apply practical business analysis and project management best practices
• Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and support of multiple enterprise applications
• Ability to allocate one's time effectively, work under pressure and manage tight deadlines, multiple demands, projects and competing priorities.
• Excels at problem-solving and customer relationships

Top Skills Necessary

• Yardi Voyager experience - 2+ years of experience with Yardi’s Voyager (specifically Investment Accounting and InvestorPlus modules) including customizations, enhancements or implementation.
• Report Development experience - 2+ years of experience working with SQL (or any other DBs) to query and conduct basic report development or troubleshooting (Yardi Spreadsheet Reporting or SSRS for example)
• Business Analysis - 5+ years of experience planning and driving scoping, gap analysis, needs assessments, impact analysis, requirements definition and stakeholder management including liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the organization.
