Job Description

Job Title: Infrastructure Administrator (Real Estate and Procurement)

Location: Ottawa, Canada (2nd location preference: Toronto, Canada)

Salary: $70000 - $75000/Annum + 6% of 401K Employer contribution

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Administrator with experience in real estate management and procurement to join our team. As an Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure aspects of our real estate properties, as well as handling procurement activities. Your role will primarily focus on managing our real estate portfolio in the Columbia and Canada areas, while also supporting procurement initiatives to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Real Estate Management:
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of our real estate properties in the Columbia and Canada regions.
  • Handle lease agreements, property inspections, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Negotiate with landlords, property owners, or real estate agents to secure suitable properties.
  • Conduct property research and analysis to identify viable options that meet our requirements.
  1. Procurement:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Optimize procurement processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop procurement strategies.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage vendor performance and service levels.
  1. Budgeting and Cost Management:
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with property acquisitions, leases, and procurement projects.
  • Establish budgets for real estate-related expenses and procurement activities.
  1. Compliance and Legal Requirements:
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to real estate transactions and procurement contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all real estate and procurement activities.
  • Stay updated on local laws, regulations, and industry standards related to real estate and procurement.
  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to align real estate and procurement activities with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Real Estate, Procurement).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for documentation, reporting, and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate regulations, leasing processes, and property management principles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure administration, real estate management, and procurement.
