Our Client Is Offering
- An annual salary of £26,000 to £28,000, dependant on experience/salary expectations. Our client regularly reviews salaries, annually, with a view of progressing pay regularly.
- Office based Monday to Friday work with an offered 37.5 hour per week contract. Expect hours of work from 08:30 to 17:00 daily with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
- 29 days of annual leave per year, including Bank Holidays.
- Paid overtime or TOIL, if required.
- An initial workplace pension scheme with an upgraded ‘Estate Pension’ and health plan after a year of service, details available on request.

- A highly commutable location with free onsite parking. Our client is a 20-minute drive from Dorchester and an 18-minute drive from Yeovil. Our client is in a remote location so a driving licence/own transport is a must.
- Managing calendars, telephone lists & email inboxes.
- Can multi-task, is highly organised & can work to deadline.
- Offering a welcoming, hospitable & efficient greeting to all Estate Office visitors.
- Has a keen eye for detail and is highly organised.
- Performing telephone triage (inbound calls) and managing incoming & outgoing post (couriers & franking).
- Typing up dictations, formal letters, minutes, reports, memos etc.
- Is resilient and can laugh when things go wrong.
- Is an articulate communicator with a strong command of the English language, written & spoken. Picking up the phone and handling all Estate correspondence won’t daunt you.
- Is an experienced Administrator/Secretary looking to provide first class secretarial & receptionist services. Not you yet but are you desperate to make the transition & have experience in an office environment? Read on!
- Liaising with external property letting stakeholders including organising maintenance.
- Is highly affable, enjoys working as part of a close-knit team and doesn’t mind working individually.
- Is system savvy & IT literate. Although you’ll be confident working with paper-based systems, our client is looking for a candidate with a strong background in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & Outlook especially.
- Assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when needed.
- Filing & organising important documents.
- Likes diverse work & getting ‘stuck in’. In post, you’ll closely support our client’s Estate Manager in:
- Booking conference rooms & providing refreshment.
- Supporting with property enquires, lettings reviews, renewals etc.
- Undertaking biannual health and safety reviews including ‘writing up’ necessary amendments to policies & procedures.
