The position at a glance
The Head of CTO Office CIB2S Americas is responsible for leading teams to deliver projects that span across one or more business units for the AMER region. The teams are supporting a number of critical applications, which are under high availability constraints. These services range from providing assistance to supporting projects, business services, global services, audit, risk, security and deliveries within perimeter. This also includes management of issues, risks and production change requests to ensure successful and on-time delivery.
In detail
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project and production support team.
  • Consider implementation of CIB2S Group solutions when available.
  • Be responsible for the department BC Plans.
  • Steer and manage Global services tasks (Global Project management, Global Governance, HR, Sourcing, Communication & Facilities action plans).
  • Lead transformation projects and committees.
  • Procure/identify adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
  • Manage obsolescence’s and Software Asset.
  • Accompany Head of CIB2S APS IT Production Americas – Canada in deputing his tasks.
  • Align with global security process and accommodate that for AMER region.
  • Work closely with different Business Management and technical teams in day-to-day activities.
  • Build controls within the processes and monitor to ensure the adherence of the controls.
  • Organize, coordinate, manage and govern – Obsolescence & patching and capacity management & infrastructure optimization.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program are aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Participate in audits and Risk management.
  • Align AMER region in line with global organizational processes.
  • Steer and manage Business services tasks (Change management, incident management and problem management) for AMER region.
  • Consider adaptation of current process vs. development of new solutions when needed for AMER.
  • Track the compliance related trainings of AMER APS members and ensure they are complete before the due date.
The Strengths And Skills That Will Help You Succeed
  • Advanced technical skills in development, Application production support- and troubleshooting.
  • Proven working experience as an IT manager or relevant experience.
  • Excellent leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations.
  • Expertise in data Application Production Support.
  • Extensive experience presenting to top management and demonstrate communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management.
  • Proven experience in coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising project and production support teams.
  • Knowledge of the English is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in production and process within an Investment Bank.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology. Advanced degree considered a plus.
