Head Of Product Management

The ROLE: As the Head of Product at 4stay, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our company by overseeing the development and management of both our marketplace product and our SaaS accommodation management platform. You will be a key leader in a startup environment, wearing multiple hats and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that meet the needs of our users and drive business growth.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Startup Environment: As a part of a startup, you will need to embrace the fast-paced and agile nature of the organization. You will be expected to adapt quickly to changing priorities, make data-driven decisions, and effectively manage limited resources and budget constraints.
• Team Management: You will lead and manage a team of product managers, designers, and other professionals. Your role will involve providing guidance, mentorship, and support to your team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products within designated timelines.
• Deep Curiosity: A fundamental aspect of this role is being deeply curious about our users, the market, and emerging industry trends. You will conduct user research, analyze data, and actively seek feedback to gain a comprehensive understanding of user needs and identify opportunities for product innovation.
• SaaS Product Integration and Development: You will lead the successful integration and ongoing development of our SaaS product. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to define product requirements, conducting market analysis to identify customer needs and opportunities, and overseeing the product development lifecycle from concept to release.
• Managing Up: You will work closely with senior executives and stakeholders, effectively communicating product strategies, progress, and challenges. You will leverage your ability to manage up, influence decision-making, and advocate for resources and support to achieve product goals.
• Marketplace Product Management: You will be responsible for the overall strategy, vision, and execution of the marketplace product. This includes gathering and analyzing user feedback, conducting market research, defining product roadmaps, and working closely with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
• Results-Oriented: As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for driving results quickly and efficiently. You will set clear objectives and key results (OKRs), monitor product performance, and leverage data to iterate and optimize product features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong track record of successfully managing and launching digital products, specific experience in marketplace and SaaS products preferred.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in product management, preferably in a startup environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results and deliver high-quality products within limited budgets.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
