Job Description

The Role

As the Head of Communications, you will develop and implement effective communication strategies that build brand awareness, collaborate with different departments to generate new ideas and strategies, and oversee media relations for the organization.


You Will

  • Coordinate, monitor and maintain the publications calendar
  • Write and edit various communications and coordinate the writing and editing of company communications with suppliers and partners
  • Coordinate the updating of digital content on the various company platforms, including the website and events platform
  • Coordinate content and manage social networks, including animating them as needed
  • Participate, as needed, in meetings of event organizing committees to implement communication plans for each event
  • Participate in the development of advertising campaigns for various service offerings
  • Develop, deploy, and execute the external communications strategy for all company platforms


You Have

  • Flexibility to work outside of regular working hours as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications (an asset)
  • 3+ years’ experience of relevant experience (having developed communication strategies/plans in previous roles)
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of social networks and web environments


You Are

  • A strong communicator (verbal/written) in both English and French
  • Exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple (and sometimes conflicting) priorities
  • A people person who enjoys actively collaborating with cross-functional teams
