About the team you are joining
Global Aviation Data Management (GADM) team is responsible for the development, implementation and support of data solutions needed to monitor safety, operational and capacity KPIs. These includes, without being limited to

• Managing Data Sharing Programs (IDX, FDX, MCX and ADX)
• Supporting OSS lines of business in their data, analytics, reporting and dashboard needs
• Adhering to data governance policies, quality standards and best practices
• Developing a coherent approach to data visualization and analysis
• Ensuring the availability, reliability, and quality of the data and related dashboards through continuous monitoring

What your day would be like
Reporting to the Director, OSS Business Systems and Performance, you will provide leadership to deliver an integrated data management environment to discover, process, explore, optimize data and data-driven applications, with focus on maximize data usefulness through standards-based governance framework and quality assurance.
You will oversight the planning, developing, implementing and monitoring of data management strategy to support data analytics, data governance and data quality principles.
You will lead the implementation of tools and process capabilities for data stewardship and data business glossary, while oversighting the data normalisation, fusion and quality control across various industry data sets.
You will also oversee the development of new analytical capabilities including statistical analytics and AI to build value-add technical and analytical solutions for internal and external business partners to better determine operational impacts, trends and opportunities.

• You have a university degree in a related field
• You have proven experience working closely with business owners and subject matter experts to document, design, develop and deliver high-quality data and analytics solutions
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking abilities in English
• You are able to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner
• You are passionate about data
• You have some expertise related to aviation
• You are familiar with ISO 27001 and 9001:2015 standards
• You have been leading a team of data experts (modelers, engineers, scientists) for at least 7 years

Travel Required: 5%
