As the Senior Manager, Data & Analytics you will be a key leader in our organization, responsible for overseeing the data and analytics functions. Your primary focus will be on leveraging data to drive insights, inform strategic decision-making, and optimize business processes. You will lead a team of analysts, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions that enhance our products, operations, and overall performance. Your expertise in data analysis, analytics engineering, and statistical modeling will be instrumental in shaping our data-driven culture and driving innovation.

You will play a crucial role in elevating our data-driven capabilities and empowering our organization to make strategic decisions based on data insights. Your leadership and technical expertise will contribute to our continued growth and success, ensuring that data remains a powerful driver of innovation and excellence in our business operations.

In this role, your focus will be on 6 major areas:

Team Leadership and Management:

As a Manager, you will lead and manage a team of data analysts and engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment. You will also be responsible for setting clear goals, objectives, and performance metrics for the team, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic priorities.

Data Strategy and Governance:

You will develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy, ensuring data governance, data quality, and security best practices are followed throughout the organization and will help us develop an effective process for managing internal data requests. You know how to effectively communicate and collaborate with IT, Product and Product Development teams to establish data infrastructure and ensure seamless data integration across systems.

Data Analysis and Insights:

You will be responsible for designing scalable, maintainable analytics infrastructure using state-of-the-art tooling and best practices. As a manager, you will oversee the analysis of complex datasets using advanced statistical methods and data visualization techniques to derive meaningful insights and identify business opportunities. You will also work on translating data-driven findings into actionable recommendations to support decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Business Performance Optimization:

Your responsibility will be to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance, to identify areas for performance improvement and drive data-informed strategies as well as effectively communicating with C-level executives.

Data Reporting and Visualization:

You will create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate insights to stakeholders effectively while ensuring data visualizations are intuitive, informative, and aligned with business objectives.

Data Privacy and Compliance:

Staying updated with data privacy regulations and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection laws and industry standards in all data-related initiatives.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates that have 5+ years experience in a leadership role within data science and analytics, with a track record of delivering data-driven solutions and insights while having experience with the Modern Data Stack, we use dbt, BigQuery, Segment, FiveTran, Airbyte, Hightouch.

As we are a SaaS organization, we are looking for candidates with past experience working in the SaaS industry and ability working with Marketing, Sales, and Finance.

You also have:

• Strong business acumen and ability to align data initiatives with organizational goals.
• Expertise in data analysis, analytics engineering, and statistical modeling, with proficiency in programming languages like Python or R.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of data professionals to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Metabase, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data security, and data modeling best practices like dimension and fact tables.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify data-driven opportunities and solutions for business challenges.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
