Job Description

CKF Inc. has eight manufacturing facilities located in North America with a total workforce in excess of 900 employees.Our operations produce foam, plastic and molded pulp products in the areas of retail, foodservice, produce, and protective packaging industries.

We have a great opportunity based in Ontario, for a Director of Field Sales, reporting to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support direct reports to negotiate customer contracts, promotions, pricing and programs
  • Achieve annual sales budget (volume and margin)
  • Direct Account responsibility of accounts (both existing and non existing)
  • Contribute to the annual strategic plans.
  • Identify and share new business development and market share opportunities with the Leadership Team.
  • Provide mentoring, teamwork, coaching and motivation to direct (3) and indirect (9) reporting sales roles managing various regions across North America.
  • Review frequent Sales Analysis Reports of account performance to establish and execute sales strategies.
  • Conduct performance reviews and ensure that all direct reports have goals linked to Regional and Corporate plans within all product lines.
  • Adhere to/execute annual Regional Sales Department budgets
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives as required
  • Develop and maintain forecast budgets for accounts and territories managed
  • Proactively monitor industry developments, threats and opportunities to the Leadership Team

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with various software and CRM applications
  • Strong time management skills
  • Minimum of 7 years sales management experience (direct reports)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Post secondary education in a related field
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Experience managing National Accounts
  • Self starter with a determination to succeed

Working Environment:

  • Flexible to travel
  • Cross between home office & business office space (Etobicoke, ON)
  • Required to work off cycle hours and varying amounts of overtime
  • Laptop computer and Mobile phone provided
