Job Description

The National Sales Director – Spirits will lead and own the Dandurand Groups sales efforts for the total country and all customers therein (Retail and On Premise). The candidate will have 3 direct reports and will implement our suppliers’ strategies to hit/exceed their objectives.


** This position is located either in Montreal or Toronto **


Responsibilities


  • Build a calendar and activation plan for promotional programs with maximum ROI
  • Manage forecast, account budgets and own key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Lead contact at Dandurand for all interactions with the different retail partners nationally
  • Build and pitch creative in-store marketing activations to drive awareness and sell through of products
  • Coach and develop 3 direct report(s)
  • Grow Spirits listing base to increase market share
  • Build and present category assortment plans using data-based analysis
  • Develop strong relationships with the Liquor Board’s category managers, pricing and marketing departments
  • Responsible for revenue management and inventory planning/logistics
  • Develop tools with the Customer Marketing and Brand Marketing departments to enhance our execution in store
  • Lead contact for building relationships and growing our business with the different retail partners nationally and key On Premise operators

Education & Experiences

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience managing a Sales Team and Retail partners at a National level
  • Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry (strong asset)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent
  • WSET Certification (strong asset)
