Job Description

You are a highly motivated individual who is strategic, innovative, creative, and engaging to take the reins of this exciting role. You will play a pivotal role in leading change in a non-profit organization and make a significant impact on the business and its future direction.

You will work closely with the account management team and retail partners to collaborate, ideate, develop, and execute programs in the market that will build its mission.


What you should expect:


Retail Marketing Programs

  • Working closely with leadership to build strategy.
  • Working collaboratively with all departments to ensure shared understanding of objectives and plans.
  • Identify and support opportunities through merchandising tools.
  • Develop turn-key retail solutions to promote consumer and retail partner participation (POP, contests, events, incentives).
  • Creating and executing an annual trade marketing plan that supports account management strategies and delivers business objectives.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to lead projects that will build awareness and conversion for partners.
  • Provide thought leadership with creative and innovative strategies to drive awareness leading to a call to action that supports the mission.
  • Identify, review and create compelling innovative business-building customer program opportunities.


Customer Support

  • Support account management team in strategic selling of programs.
  • Manage the planning and execution of key customer and consumer events.
  • Strong understanding of retail landscape to build retailer-specific and channel-specific strategies and initiatives.


The ideal candidate:

  • Expertise in multiple areas of trade marketing including digital platforms, in-store platforms, merchandising tools, and retailer-specific ecosystems.
  • Ability to inspire a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Driven leader, willing to do whatever it takes to get ‘it’ done.
  • Ability to leverage data and customer insights to develop strategic plans to execute and ultimately deliver results.
  • Previous experience in both B2B and B2C environment.
  • Creative mind and solutions-oriented.
  • Results-oriented, flexible, and self-driven for success.
  • Strong project management discipline.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in a non-technical manner.
  • Leadership experience in a marketing team, including brand definition, audience segmentation, channel diversity, planning, execution, attribution, and content management.
  • Work with a purpose and a sense of urgency.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a retail marketing environment and content management, preferably with a Tier 1 brand.
  • Strong communicator, people person and with a positive attitude.
  • Someone who is curious and creative and who can energize a team to exceed targets.
  • In-depth understanding of key business KPI’s with a drive for continuous growth and the ability to problem-solve quickly, think creatively, and drive speed-to-market delivery while optimizing outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of emerging technologies, processes, approaches, and competitor offerings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with counterparts from various functional teams/departments while influencing the work of counterparts without direct reporting accountability.
  • Able to learn and excel in a complex business environment.
