Position Summary
- Arranging for regular vehicle maintenance and record keeping of that maintenance as well as ensuring that the vehicle is kept clean and well-organized to provide for a professional product and Company image.
- Aggressively identifying, targeting, sampling, and selling new and potential accounts within an assigned territory.
- Coordinating convenience store and chain store account shelf product and POS re-sets.
- Merchandising retail accounts including delivering and placing products, point-of-sale (POS) materials, refrigeration units and barrel coolers.
- Attending distributor meetings on a regular basis.
- Maintaining route book records by distributors, including target lists and route cards for each account.
- Coordinating marketing crew drive activities in various locations in and outside of the assigned territory, including arranging for and assisting in product deliveries, opening new accounts, and merchandising accounts.
- Basic computer operating skills in and outside of an office environment to include handheld devices.
- Demonstrable comfort level in dealing with people, both individually and in groups.
- Ability to drive and maintain the assigned Company vehicle, and to travel to and within territories as assigned.
- Occasional travel outside the assigned territory may be required.
- Ability to perform physical activities required by job duties including lifting and moving up to 65 pounds individually and occasionally greater weights with assistance; ability to bend, stretch, stoop, climb, and perform other physical acts in delivering/setting/moving/removing product, refrigerators and POS displays (side racks / mobilizers / etc.)
- Ability to successfully meet standards of physical examinations and substance abuse testing if required.
- Be at least 21 years of age and have and maintain an acceptable driving record, in order to be covered by the Company’s insurance carrier.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Solid English and French language communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Coordonner les activités de conduite de l'équipe de marketing dans divers endroits à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur du territoire assigné, y compris organiser et aider à la livraison des produits, à l'ouverture de nouveaux comptes et au marchandisage des comptes.
- Assurer le marchandisage des comptes de détail, notamment en livrant et en plaçant les produits, le matériel de point de vente (PDV), les unités de réfrigération et les refroidisseurs de barils.
- Coordonner le réaménagement des produits et des points de vente dans les magasins de proximité et les chaînes de magasins.
- Assister aux réunions des distributeurs sur une base régulière.
- Organiser l'entretien régulier du véhicule et tenir un registre de cet entretien, tout en veillant à ce que le véhicule reste propre et bien rangé afin de donner une image professionnelle du produit et de la société.
- Tenir à jour les registres d'itinéraire des distributeurs, y compris les listes de cibles et les cartes d'itinéraire pour chaque compte.
- Identifier, cibler, échantillonner et vendre de manière agressive des comptes nouveaux et potentiels dans un territoire donné.
- Être à l'aise dans les relations avec les gens, tant individuellement qu'en groupe.
- Compétences informatiques de base dans et hors d'un environnement de bureau, y compris les appareils portables.
- Excellentes capacités d'organisation et de gestion du temps.
- Solides compétences en communication en anglais et en français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.
- Capacité à satisfaire aux normes des examens physiques et des tests de toxicomanie, si nécessaire.
- Des déplacements occasionnels à l'extérieur du territoire assigné peuvent être requis.
- Capacité d'effectuer les activités physiques requises par les fonctions du poste, y compris soulever et déplacer jusqu'à 65 livres individuellement et, à l'occasion, des poids plus importants avec de l'aide ; capacité de se pencher, de s'étirer, de se baisser, de grimper et d'effectuer d'autres actes physiques lors de la livraison, de la mise en place, du déplacement et du retrait de produits, de réfrigérateurs et de présentoirs de point de vente (supports latéraux, mobilisateurs, etc.).
- Être âgé d'au moins 21 ans et avoir et maintenir un dossier de conduite acceptable, afin d'être couvert par la compagnie d'assurance de l'entreprise.
- Capacité à conduire et à entretenir le véhicule de l'entreprise qui lui est attribué, et à se déplacer dans les territoires qui lui sont assignés.
