Skilled Production Jobs

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Skilled Production to join our growing team.

DUTIES :

• Keep work area clean & organized
• Communicate any defects, missing glass or product to be reordered to lead hand
• Must wear all necessary safety equipment and follow safety rules
• Assist with installing stops
• Comply with JELD-WEN EH&S requirements and legal requirements including policies, standards, rules, and programs
• Communicate any missing partners for combos
• Retrieve painted material from paint shop
• Using a dolly or side wheeler pull all partners of the combo together for final
• Any other duties assigned by your Group Manager
• Reading work order tags
• Retrieve liner, metal and brickmold for final

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must be a team player
• Must be able to move windows to and from the racking area
• Must wear all appropriate PPE
• Must be able to read and understand English
• Must be able to use snips and glazing hammer (small tools)
• Must be safety and quality conscious
• Must be able to lift windows off the table with assistance when needed
• Must have good dexterity, spend and accuracy
• Good knowledge of glass quality specifications is an asset
