Dandylion (dandylionworld.com) is a fast-growing, community-powered dog care brand based out of Toronto! Dandylion is on a mission to clean up the dog grooming category by creating human-grade, skin-friendly, irritant-free products and empowering the next generation of millennial dog parents through connection and education.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

At Dandylion, we are passionate about building a healthier and happier future for our dogs. We put the ‘care’ back into dog care, by intentionally co-building together with dog parents and experts and creating products that take a more preventative approach - making routine at-home dog care the norm.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven marketer to join our fast-growing dog care brand. As a Dandylion Marketer, you will be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies to establish our brand, engage our target audience, and drive growth. You will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's identity, building a loyal community, and establishing strategic partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Community Management and Events: Actively manage our brand's online communities, including social media platforms and online forums. Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and feedback promptly. Plan and execute community events, both online and offline, to foster engagement and create a sense of belonging among our customers.
• Content Creation and Storytelling: Create compelling and authentic content that showcases our brand's values, products, and services. Develop captivating stories that connect with dog partners and effectively communicate the unique benefits of our brand. Create and edit visually appealing and shareable content.
• Partnerships with Brands and Influencers: Identify and forge strategic partnerships with like-minded brands and influencers in the dog care industry. Collaborate with external stakeholders to execute co-branded campaigns, influencer collaborations, and cross-promotional initiatives. Leverage partnerships to expand brand reach, drive sales, and increase brand credibility
• Content Calendar: Develop and manage a content calendar across various digital platforms, including social media, email marketing, and blogs. Plan and schedule engaging content to captivate our audience, enhance brand visibility, and drive customer engagement.
• Marketing Calendar: Develop a comprehensive marketing calendar that aligns with our brand's vision and goals. Create monthly campaigns and themes that resonate with our target audience, increase brand awareness, and drive customer acquisition and retention.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a start-up or emerging brand environment.

• Storyteller: Ability to create compelling and tell compelling stories that resonate with our target audience, across various platforms
• Results-driven: Ability to take ownership of projects and drive growth
• Outgoing and Personable: gains energy from meeting and socializing with new people and building lasting connections.
• Curious and always learning: proactive mindset to identify opportunities, passionate about staying up-to-date with industry trends and eager to quickly test (and quickly pivot) new ideas and initiatives
