Your Impact

You’re pivotal to our product- and marketing-led (PLG) company success. As the Director of Brand, you’ll own our brand and communication function at Plooto. You will partner with our VP of Growth and leverage Plooto’s strong name in the Canadian market to stand up and oversee the execution of systematic branding across channels. This is our first Brand hire, so you’ll have the opportunity to build on our existing approaches and take them to a new level. This is a great opportunity for you to come in, make an immediate impact and establish best practices to scale.

As a leader in the space, you will establish best practices across public relations and corporate communications as you ensure a unified approach across customer and employer branding. You'll also ensure consistent messaging in the market. You’ll oversee our brand and communication strategies, including visual identity and voice. You will also develop processes that triage creative requests (support campaigns, events, launches, thought leadership) which ultimately drive new customers.

Your Background:

You’ve been an integral part of fast-growing, high-performing tech companies throughout your career as a brand champion. As a SME in the space, you have in-depth knowledge of brand strategy, corporate communications, design and marketing. With strategic, creative and analytical abilities, you can hit the ground running with minimal exploration. You are also a hands-on doer who can double up as a Player Coach. Plootonians are data-driven, and so are you; you are curious by nature and dig into the quantitative aspects of previous roles. As a Leader in the space, you have a network of peers who can act as advisors as well as attract and retain high-performing Plootonians.
