Hays Recruitment has partnered up with a not-for-profit company in Toronto, ON. Our client is looking to hire a 4-month contract Brand Marketing Consultant to join their team. This role follows a remote working model.

Your new role

• Helps lead organizational brand strategy and protect brand integrity
• Responsible for creative review and revisions, oversight of production management
• Evaluates the ROI and overall performance of each campaign, and partners with the media agency to highlight key learnings and go-forward opportunities.
• Works with Director, Brand Marketing, on brand strategy. Acts as day-to-day ‘guardian’ of brand strategy and resulting creative executions
• Provide mentorship and guidance for Marketing Specialist and Marketing Coordinator ensuring their continued growth and success.
• Leads the development, execution and analysis of advertising campaigns
• Provides strategic guidance and input throughout the creative development process to both external creative agencies and the in-house design team. Works with in-house team to adapt and execute collateral materials conceived by external agencies
• Works closely with the Digital team to ensure alignment on media and creative strategy and social content best practices, as well as pixel and UTM parameter implementation to allow for accurate reporting
• Leads and manages the day-to-day relationships with our advertising and creative agencies of record, as well as acting as a key contact point for other external agencies
• Works closely with multiple internal program leads to translate business objectives into strategic advertising plans while securing stakeholder feedback, input and approvals throughout the planning and production cycle
• Ensures channel integration in digitally dominant media and creative strategies

What you'll need to succeed

• Highly effective project management, multitasking and time management skills to meet tight deadlines
• Undergraduate degree, with a specialization in Marketing or equivalent work experience
• Advanced understanding of advertising best practices
• 6–8 years of extensive job-related experience in progressively more senior positions
• Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in social media, online sources and ability to keep connected with trends in digital media and marketing
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
• History of project-managing campaigns or vendors
• Exceptional track record developing, managing, and implementing ad campaigns across channels, from briefing through to media buying and post-campaign reporting and analysis
• Passion for the not-for-profit work
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including the day-to-day management of external agencies
• Hands-on experience with digital advertising tools such as Google Ad Words and Google Analytics
