As the Director, Brand, and Integrated Marketing you will play a vital role in establishing our brand presence and driving inventive breakthrough strategies in the highly commoditized leisure travel category. You will lead a team responsible for planning and executing integrated top-funnel brand campaigns, promotional campaigns, product, and regional marketing. What You’ll Do

• Deliver 360 omni-channel programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop imaginative brand strategies that will help Sunwing break through amongst this highly commoditized leisure travel category.
• Work closely with other departments, such as Payload, Product, Sales, and Analytics, to develop marketing plans that support immediate and near-term business needs.
• Develop differentiated positioning, storytelling and value propositions that will guide marketing peers to deliver effective campaigns.
• Oversee a calendar of marketing campaigns that deliver on the overall load factor, gateway, and destination objectives.
• Regularly measure brand health with quarterly research studies.
• Accountable for planning, executing, and optimizing integrating marketing campaigns that encompass various channels to maximize brand visibility, customer acquisition and sales generation.
• Act as a vital partner to the Product team and establish go-to-market framework and processes to launch new products and support ongoing sales.
• Develop strategic frameworks and principles that protect the integrity of the Sunwing brand across all tactics.
• Authenticate and grow positive sentiment for Sunwing in the Quebec market with the goal of increasing our direct consumer business.
• Continually evolve Sunwing’s brand strategy and positioning, ensuring it resonates with our travellers and differentiates us from competitors.
• Collaborate with Product and B2B marketing on seasonal product marketing plans that are integrated with brand and promotional campaigns.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Establish KPIs upfront and track performance for continued learnings and optimization.
• Collaborate with media agency and vendors to plan high impact placements that align with our target audiences and campaign goals, such as OOH, terrestrial and digital audio, cinema, etc.
• Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.

What You’ll Need

• Strong digital fluency
• Excellent understanding of the various marketing channels, both digital and traditional, and the roles they play in the marketing mix.
• 8-10 years of proven experience working with growth brands in a brand, product, and content marketing capacity.
• Clear communication skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated success in building and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture while guiding a team to execute on the smaller details.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt effectively to competing priorities.
• Experience in a leadership role, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team, specifically through a company’s digital transformation and change management.
• Proficiency in marketing analytics.
