What you will do:

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Enterprise Systems, the Director, Digital & Technology Operations is responsible for network, server, and cloud infrastructure across all locations Cineplex Entertainment (retail & corporate). The D&T Operations team implements, administers, and maintains the technical infrastructure for Cineplex Entertainment. This includes on-premise (wired & wireless networks, data centres (server and storage, backups, etc.) and Cloud (Public & SaaS Solutions).

Responsibilities

• Establish technical vision for project systems, architectures, deliverables, and environment
• Identify technical requirements and tools to deliver project vision
• Meet or exceed established Service Level Agreements for service, availability, incident management
• Project management, ability to lead and manage projects from beginning to end
• Work closely with Vice President, Enterprise Systems, D&T leadership team and stakeholders to actively supporting and drive innovation within our infrastructure with new technology, new processes, new and ways of thinking
• Create clear visibility to the work and projects completed by the D&T Operations team
• Understand business problems and provide technical direction for projects

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Storage, Disaster Recovery Planning, and vendor management
• Significant experience with leading high-performing teams, as well as experience with project and program planning & delivery models and methodologies
• Strong relationship-building skills to build effective working relationships with business unit leaders
• 5-10 years in a relevant role with responsibilities for networking, server, storage, and cloud. Preferably within a large enterprise
• University/College Education in related course of study and/or equivalent experience required including an excellent understanding of IT management best practices (ITSM/ITIL)
• Strong communication skills, including ability to translate complex technical solutions into fundamental concepts.
• Certification(s) in Quality Assurance or Software Testing
• Significant experience with Public Cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Demonstrated senior level experience in large-scale operational management, in highly complex organizations
• Experience migrating legacy on-premise environments to cloud services
