Position Summary
The Director, Strategy & Partnerships is responsible for driving value for clients through the development and implementation of Orion solutions. This involves collaborating with stakeholders across the Mediabrands ecosystem to identify client opportunities as well as leading partnership utilization, negotiations and management. Candidate must possess strong business acumen and the ability to build and foster key relationships to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with internal Orion teams to support projects across departments while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Manage team including work product oversight, workload balance and performance management and team member growth and development
- Manage media partnerships and relationships, including updates on deal tracking, and collaboration to discover new solutions for clients
- Collaborate with Digital team to create successful partnerships; manage the utilization of digital deals across the client teams
- Lead and foster strong relationships with client teams. Develop and implement solutions aligned to client needs.
- Manage partnership utilization tracking and forecasting
- Develop training guides and presentations for client teams
- Uncover and support areas of opportunity to drive new and organic client growth, and optimize to improve operational efficiencies
- Lead scoping of new partnership opportunities and partnership renewals, including contract execution
- Oversee and support financial reporting and forecasting
Desired Skills & Experience
- Exceptional management and organizational skills with the proven ability to lead a team
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years media agency experience, particularly in a media planning and/or buying function
- Superior analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiency
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong relationship-building skills and presentation experience
