Our client, a notable architecture firm in the GTA is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Contract Administration Assistant to join their team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of multiple high volume, important projects within the firm.
Your new role
As the Contract Administrative Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting the management of document lifecycle including tracking revisions, approvals, payment certifications, and permit applications. You will maintain an organized and up-to-date contract database and record system, and facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members. This role requires a high level of expertise in Microsoft Excel, as well as technical ability to pick up on project tracking and contract documentation software. This role is set up to work in a hybrid model with 2-3 days in office per week.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in contract administration assistance within an architecture, engineering, or construction context - a Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Business Administration is an asset. Familiarity with architectural terminology and basic understanding of project phases from design to construction is important, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong organizational and communication skills.
