Financial Administrative Assistant
Overview
The Financial Administrative Assistant is responsible to perform a variety of financial and administrative duties, reporting to the Financial Administrator/Controller.To maintain accurate records and remain compliant with all laws and company policies at all times.
Responsibilities
The Financial Administrative Assistant is the frontline position in financial and administrative services and has responsibility to deliver the financial and administrative support services to the Team.This position plans and organizes their workload to achieve the timeline priority standards and carry out pre-audit and processing requirements, which are guided by an array of Core Policies and procedures.Including processing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, preparing accurate bank reconciliations and deposits, updating and ensure the accuracy of the organization’s database, administratively managing internal assets, processing vendor incentives and rebates, managing office keys and alarm codes and assisting with monthly expenses, timesheet reconciliation including light HR duties.

Education & Experience
·Completion of secondary school (Grade 12 or equivalent) with a Business focused educational path or applicable experience
·Three years clerical/administrative support experience
·One year of experience in and Accounting Operations environment including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other core accounting functions.
·Experience using computerized systems and software such as internet-based applications and financial applications
·Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
·A combination of experience, education and/or training may be considered
Preference may be given to applicants who have:
oTwo or more years of accounts payable experience
oOne or more years of analytical reporting or reconciliation experience
oCompleted post-secondary courses in accounting or related financial services
Salary Range: $22 - $26 per hr, depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
