Under the guidance of the Director, Business Analysis, the Program Manager, Operations Change Requests is responsible for conducting strategic business operations analysis, evaluating the operational impact of requested changes, making recommendations for business opportunities and process improvements, and facilitating the implementation of change requests.
Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including billing/Non-Standard Billing Committee and service delivery teams to support hand-off for implementation of solution.
  • Track changes to identify and report on trends.
  • Manage & maintain the Operations Change Request process; analyze requests; interview key subject matter experts to understand risks, costs and feasibility, and make recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
  • Anticipate business or project issues. Make recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • Critically evaluate business needs, drive decision making though strong analytical, leadership, and conflict management skills.
  • Create or support business case initiatives, providing sound insight, costs, ROI and recommendations.
  • Work independently with users to define concepts and clarify business needs.
  • Lead internal teams to find solutions.
  • Work on project as required.
  • Successfully and efficiently engage in multiple operations change requests initiatives simultaneously.
  • Provide the organization with solutions that are practical as well as visionary.
  • Work with management to prioritize business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for organizational process or program improvements.
  • Liaise with multiple business units, technology teams and support teams to identify requirements, best practices, interdependencies and opportunities for improvements.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must be able to think quickly, be strategic, and assertive as necessary. The selected candidate will need to be able to interact with a variety of people within the organization and adapt their style to different personalities. Additional qualifications include:
  • 3-5 years similar experience as a Program Manager or Project Manager with strong emphasis on Business Analysis
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner across functional departments.
  • Must be bilingual (English/French)
  • Work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards.
  • The candidate must be energetic, driven and committed to success while working under tight time constraints and pressure.
  • University Degree in a related discipline
  • The ability to think analytically, solve problems to complex business processes, and document results.
  • The candidate must be process-oriented with sound judgment, attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through including the flexibility to perform in an ever-changing work environment.
  • A strong understanding of web-based application delivery.
  • The ability to identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office and Visio
