Position: Community Program Manager

As a Community Program Lead, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage our community programs, working closely with diverse stakeholders to achieve our shared objectives.
Role Overview: We are hiring a full-time Community Program Manager to join our team in Toronto, ON, with flexibility for remote work. As the Community Program Manager, you will develop and manage programs that engage and grow our community. This strategic role requires excellent communication, program management, and community engagement skills. You will oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our community programs, collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and community members to ensure their successful execution. We are seeking a proactive and passionate leader with strong project management skills and a genuine commitment to community development.
Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about community trends, emerging needs, and best practices in community development to inform program strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify community needs, establish program objectives, and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and outreach activities, promoting engagement and participation.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and support of program participants, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate program logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management, to ensure smooth program implementation.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Develop and implement program evaluation processes to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Track program outcomes and impact, preparing regular reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications efforts to promote community programs, sharing success stories and engaging a wider audience.
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for community programs, aligning them with the organization's goals and values.
Requirements:
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of community development principles, strategies, and best practices.
- Experience in program evaluation and data analysis is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven experience in community program management, project management, or a related role.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse groups of people.
- Passion for community engagement and making a positive impact in society.
