Community Manager - Streetwear Brand Startup

Location: Toronto, Canada - Remote position (with attendance at planned events)

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site assistance during brand events and contribute to photoshoots as needed.
• Build relationships with media outlets to secure consistent media mentions and coverage for our brand.
• Manage the influencer program, developing personalized campaigns, executing campaigns, and utilizing innovative outreach tactics to identify and collaborate with the right influencers.
• Assist in arranging strategic collaborations with individuals, brands, and organizations to further amplify our brand reach and create impactful partnerships.
• Plan and execute bi-monthly events with the founder, creating memorable experiences that generate significant online shares and engagement.
• Implement innovative marketing tactics to build a closed community on platforms like Slack or Facebook Group, fostering discussions and facilitating interactions with our targeted audience.

Experience

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, email marketing, and community management.
• Proficiency in experiential marketing and event planning.
• Demonstrated experience in PR, media relations outreach, and influencer outreach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with our community and build relationships with influencers, media outlets, and partners.
• Familiarity with the fashion industry and luxury brands is highly desirable.

• Increased social media engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.

What We Offer:

Duration: July - October 2023 (4-month contract, possible extension to 1 year)
