About the Role:


With new innovations and exciting expansion plans in place, there has never been a better time to join the Ferrero Group and a leading kids’ chocolate brand, Kinder Surprise. We are seeking an Assistant Brand Manager who will be responsible for monitoring, assessing and helping drive the Kinder Surprise brand performance in the marketplace to ensure delivery against budget.


In this role, you will provide in-depth market and brand analysis to inform Kinder Surprise’s brand strategy within a fast-moving consumer packaged goods category. The Assistant Brand Manager will work closely with the Global and Regional Marketing teams, Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain. This role will also develop strong budget management and financial literacy of the brand P&L. The ideal candidate is confident in their understanding of the retail trade structure, intellectually curious about brand and category performance and has an eye for creative detail when working with agency partners.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Monitor brand business performance and provide routine performance updates for Brand Team and Senior Leadership
  • Maintain a pulse on the competitive environment to assess impact on the business
  • Support the development of organic brand presence and manage social media content along with agency and brand manager guidance
  • Partner with cross functional teams to deliver assets required for item sell-in, setup and in-market support (i.e., packaging artwork, selling story, product imagery, eCommerce content, etc.)
  • Support the creation of persuasive presentations for go to market meetings
  • Liaise with Finance and Procurement to manage brand advertising and promotions budget, to accurately maintain brand’s marketing contribution
  • Track holistic brand initiatives with defined and set KPIs


Who we are looking for:


  • Excellent analytical skills upon which to base decision-making
  • 1-3 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing
  • Experience working with consumer data, i.e., ACNielsen
  • Team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required; MBA is a plus
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail
