A minimum of 5 years relevant clinical education experience, preferably in an academic health science centre

The Assistant Brand Manager’s responsibilities/accountabilities include:

Manage the brand planning calendar; coordinate cross-functional activities and plan processes, manage timelines, and ensure timely completion of all deliverables.

Business acumen, strong communication, presentation, and cross functional collaboration skills

Strategize and oversee product roadmaps and go-to-market launch strategies and conduct post-mortem analyses to measure effectiveness and to refine tactics.

Work on brand awareness initiatives through both digital and traditional marketing channels.

Skill Factors (education, experience, communication, technical, etc.):

Proven experience in Sales/Marketing and Brand Management which includes:

Minimum 1 year experience as Assistant Brand Manager or Brand Manager in a Tier 1 consumer packaged goods environment

Effective time management – ability to manage self, time and priorities

Superior time and organizational skills – ability to manage self, time and priorities and ensure all deadlines are met

Manage and update digital assets including image bank, website, email newsletters and Facebook page, search and blogger influencers

Manage customer order releases, ensure proper approvals are attained

Manage Month end closure, ensure accounts are reconciled and approvals and in place.

Manage and providing support to Credit & Accounts Receivable staff and ensuring processed and procedures are per policies

Manage accounts on Credit Hold. Ensure order releases are aligned with credit limits and on timely manner & proper approvals

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics

Certified Credit Professional qualification or similar

Manage P&Ls and ensure corporate revenue and gross profit targets are met against all initiatives and segments

Manage budget, work within budget parameters and deliver projects on time for the portfolio

Recommend marketing strategies and tactics in support of corporate objectives to the Senior Brand Manager and Marketing Director

Manage communication plans and development for the season focusing on driving growth for the LINDOR portfolio

Minimum 3 years cumulative, progressive experience in a similar brand marketing role

Experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry

Manage and track budgets to ensure programs meet objectives and provide finance with accurate and timely reporting

Computer skills, with a comprehensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Manage all Canadian image, graphics, video and packaging assets working with Dyson UK and Americas regional partners and local agencies

Has a university degree and experience in a similar Marketing role, working with premium brands

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

2 years of prior marketing/project/communications management experience.

2 years of prior management/leadership experience.

1-3 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods brand marketing

Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor, and/or management.

Supervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, training and personal development

10+ years experience in data center operations, maintenance, and engineering supporting critical facilities operations.

Experience with CMMS and BAC preferred.

Strong understanding, commitment and proven implementation experience in OSHA safety programs and processes.

Strong attention to detail, excellent project management & organizational skills

Minimum 2 years CPG experience

Previous experience in the Canadian retailer environment is an asset

Advanced Excel experience with pivot tables, formulas, & macros considered an asset

Able to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment and manage adiverse portfolio of products and tasks

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations and financial reporting

5+ years of retail experience managing 2 or more stores, departments or units, P&L, inventory, operations and customer service

3+ years of experience in a customer service oriented role

Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills
