Assistant Marketing Manager

Who we are looking for:
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an adaptable and motivated individual to support one of our Senior Marketing Managers. This is a dynamic opportunity to hone your project management, organization and analytical skills that plays an integral part of the Marketing support role. The incumbent will provide day-to-day administrative and brand support across different clients and must be able to structure their day accordingly and work within timelines. What you will be responsible for:
Assists in the coordinating of new product launches
Responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks related to major Canadian Retailers including sell sheet preparation, listing forms, photobooks, price surveys, and price lists
Manage and update GS1 listings of all products
Support the preparation of marketing presentations and monthly reports
Ad hoc data analysis as required
Regular store checks to conduct competitive analysis
Create & manage project trackers for new item launches, product packaging changes, price increases, and other ad hoc projects
Coordinate presentations & samples for account meetings
Assists with implementation of brand PR activity
Participate in monthly sales & marketing meetings
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years CPG experience
- Ability to meet deadlines & provide accurate & timely reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Excel experience with pivot tables, formulas, & macros considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Effective analytical skills
- Able to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment and manage adiverse portfolio of products and tasks
- Strong attention to detail, excellent project management & organizational skills
- Post-secondary marketing or business degree or diploma
- AC Nielsen experience an asset
- Candidates fluent in French (both written and verbal) will be given special consideration
- Previous experience in the Canadian retailer environment is an asset
