DESCRIPTION

  • Serve as an ambassador for the property, collaborating with key clients and community stakeholders to reflect our commitment to quality and sense of place.
  • Communicate openly and transparently with the in-house team and company leadership to execute the corporate vision and meet financial metrics.
  • Work closely with the engaged ownership team while having autonomy in decision-making.
  • Lead the overall operation of the luxury boutique hotel, setting the course for its success and accountability for results.
  • Set service and performance standards for the Hotel Leadership Team and guide their execution at all levels of the property to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Build a team of hospitality professionals dedicated to delivering personalized, luxury service, while mentoring and fostering a best-in-class service culture.
  • Utilize solid financial acumen to ensure financial success while maintaining exemplary service.


REQUIREMENTS

Experience and Education:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive managerial experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a Forbes 5-star luxury hotel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred but not mandatory.


Leadership and Management Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and other stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions, set goals, and lead the hotel toward achieving financial targets and operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of employees.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and resource allocation to ensure the hotel's profitability while maintaining high standards of service.


Guest Experience and Service:

  • A deep understanding of luxury hospitality and an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Thorough knowledge of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the guest experience.
  • A passion for personalized service and the ability to anticipate and fulfill guests' needs and preferences.


Brand and Quality Standards:

  • Ensure the hotel consistently upholds and exceeds the brand's quality standards and unique selling points.
  • Maintain and enhance the hotel's reputation as a top-tier luxury destination through excellent service, attention to detail, and innovation.


Team Development and Training:

  • Implement training programs to enhance staff skills and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service throughout the hotel.
  • Create a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters professional growth and development for all employees.


Sales and Marketing:

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop effective strategies to attract high-end clientele and increase hotel revenue.
  • Network with potential clients, travel agents, and industry partners to promote the hotel and establish valuable relationships.


Crisis Management and Problem-Solving:

  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills to resolve challenges promptly and maintain a seamless operation.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and develop contingency plans to handle crises effectively.


Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous security measures to safeguard guests, staff, and hotel assets.


Communication and Reporting:

  • Communicate effectively with the hotel ownership group or executive board, providing regular updates on performance, challenges, and strategic plans.


Multilingual and Cultural Awareness:

  • Fluency in multiple languages is an asset, as it facilitates communication with international guests.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to cater to the diverse needs and expectations of guests from different backgrounds.
