Duration:06 months initial contract with potential extend for long term
Location:Toronto, ON
Looking for a Senior Assistant Brand Manager – Packaged Ice Cream to lead key priorities in the Ice Cream marketing strategy. They will support the Ice Cream Marketing Lead in the development and execution of brand communications, marketing operations and portfolio transformation on Packaged Ice Cream. We’re looking for a candidate who is consumer obsessed, demonstrates a healthy dissatisfaction with the status quo, exhibits high levels of ownership and a keen desire to develop within the exciting (and delicious!) world of Ice Cream.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead packaging artwork updates for new regulatory guidelines with support from R&D teams
- Own category, competitive and Unilever performance tracking and analysis, bringing insights back to react against and inform brand strategy and portfolio transformation.
- Manage the Packaged Ice Cream brand marketing budget, enabling the brand to get the most out of its resources and meet financial targets.
- Support the development of crafting the Packaged Ice Cream destination portfolio, inclusive of innovation execution and unlocking incremental opportunities in whitespace channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the Ice Cream community, North American brand teams, cross functional teams, and agency partners; identify and mobilize needed resources to accomplish brand/project goals.
- Lead Packaged Ice Cream projects with a cross-functional team to deliver against growth and profitability objectives, ensuring projects are launched OTIF
- Support development of Canadian communications plans, including but not limited to media planning, asset development/adapts, working with agency teams on influencer plans, and search strategies.
- General management accountability in all aspects of the brand (ex: consumer inquiries, inventory support, margin improvement, business cases and P&Ls)
- Accountable for delivering the annual financial plan as measured through profit, market share, and topline.

- Strong consumer love with a desire to work in the fun and exciting Ice Cream category!
- Understanding of retail landscape with general knowledge of customers and channels
- Proven record of drive and initiative with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Clear demonstration of project management & leadership skills
- Ability to operate autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience/ability leading cross-functional teams, agencies and media partners
- 2+ years marketing experience, preferably CPG
