Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Program Manager - Senior for one of our clients.
:
Position: Program Manager - Senior
Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)
Must haves
Program Management - This team will build and maintain a master integrated roadmap, ensuring all programs and projects are aligned with the OCS corporate strategy. They will also work to maintain a clear governance framework for planning, prioritizing, managing, and executing the projects across the organization; including tracking measurements to enable success. Program Manager will be more focused on Strategy (Not IT focused, more on the strategy side)
·Extensive knowledge and experience applying best practices, procedures and principles of project, program and portfolio management methodology and governance.
·7+ years of related experience preferably in retail or regulated industries (banking, telecom, health care, public sector)
·Experience in client-facing roles preferably in consulting/contracting
·Experience establishing, building, and maintaining collaborative relationships with various stakeholders for the purpose of meeting the corporate/program objectives
·Experience in establishing program outcomes, governance, and leading strategic planning workshops
·Experience in developing multiyear program roadmaps and familiar with project business cases
·Familiarity with the retail operating environment and systems involved (PIM, ERP, E-Commerce, etc.)
Nice to Haves:
·Experience reporting to c-suite level executives is preferred
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Education/Knowledge Requirements (10%):
·Completion of Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Engineering or related area of study OR equivalent combination of experience and post-secondary education
·Formal project management training and/or possessing a PMP, CSM, or ACP is an asset
·Extensive knowledge and experience applying best practices, procedures and principles of project, program and portfolio management methodology and governance.
Experience Requirements (40%):
·7+ years of related experience preferably in retail or regulated industries (banking, telecom, health care, public sector)
·Experience in client-facing roles preferably in consulting/contracting
·Experience establishing, building, and maintaining collaborative relationships with various stakeholders for the purpose of meeting the corporate/program objectives
·Experience in establishing program outcomes, governance, and leading strategic planning workshops
·Experience working in a shared project management environment with multiple project managers managing the same project of significant size and/or complexity
Technical Requirements (30%):
·Experience in developing multiyear program roadmaps and familiar with project business cases
·Experience in working closely with technology teams and has experience in software delivery in Waterfall (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP)
·Familiarity with the retail operating environment and systems involved (PIM, ERP, E-Commerce, etc.)
·Experience with forecasting and managing assigned budget and provide financial reporting for projects in alignment with Finance standards preferred
·Proficiency with the Atlassian Suite (Jira & Confluence), Road Munk, and Microsoft Office tools used in day-to-day activities
Communication Requirements (20%):
·Ability to work in a collaborative environment across different levels and functions
·Experience in vendor management and collaborating with external stakeholders
·Highly proficient in building PowerPoint materials and leveraging diagrams, tables, charts, and graphs to communicate information
·Ability to clearly summarize and prioritize the communication of risks, actions, issues, and dependencies
·Experience reporting to C-suite level executives is preferred
