Job Description

We are seeking an operations leader with passion of achieving excellence to facilitate fuel the growth and expansion of the business. The leader will take responsibility for setting standards, creating, and managing processes for optimal efficiency overseeing training, and ensuring high levels of operational excellence. They will also take the lead in standing up new retail locations. The role reports to the Head of Operations.


Responsibilities:


1. Create operations policies and procedures; communicate, train, and coach to maintain adherence.

2. Understand and manage business journey to connect the dots between business verticals and create synergies to maximize the operational efficiency.

3. Define and map end to end customer journey, touch points and outline processes for exceptional customer experience.

4. Focus on Customer Experience in all channels.

5. Liaise with all internal stake holders and business leaders for smooth operations.

6. Collaborate with IT team to automate redundant processes and ensure that technical issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

7. Develop and analyze KPI’s and operational metrics, develop strategies for improvement.

8. Ensure compliance with standards and identify opportunities for process improvement.

9. Ensure the department has detailed process maps and recommend new ideas/improvement of current operations of the department.

10. Manage current Canadian retail operation and lead expansion by:

a. Assisting in the planning of opening the new location

b. Overseeing the overall operation of the retail locations

c. Ensuring guidelines and standards are met

d. Project manage the new store set up, including achieving budgets and meeting deadlines.


Qualifications:

· A degree or diploma in business or another relevant field

· 5 plus years of experience in an operational role

· Sig Sigma certification and Project management experience will be an asset.

· Previous experience in a wireless communications industry will be an asset

· Strong leadership and mentoring skills

· Strong sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and detail orientation

· Analytical and problem-solving skills

· An effective communicator, in person and in writing

· A highly proficient user of business productivity technologies (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint)

· Ability to travel across the country
