Job Description

We are seeking a Vice President, Client Service to join our growing team. This role, which will report to the SVP, Client Partnership of our Consumer Business Unit, will be focused on managing a portfolio of accounts, building teams, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate is a strong strategic thinker with experience operating both as a leader of client relationships and of pitches.


Role And Responsibilities


  • Resolve client revenue changes or any client relationship disparities toward a financially positive and client-building solution
  • Actively solicit feedback from clients, strategic partners, and leaders across the team
  • Drive Bounteous’ relationships with strategic accounts; effectively manage multiple clients and large-scale programs, some directly and some via Director-level Client Service team members within the portfolio, while keeping individual client relationships the top priority
  • Serve as an internal and external spokesperson for Bounteous
  • Independently assess team make-up; identify gaps and optimizations necessary to deliver an optimal client experience
  • Oversee and drive organic growth within a group of strategic client accounts, comprising $12M-15M in revenue
  • Provide independent thinking to clients and internal teams to suggest new, unexplored solutions to client challenges; identify new opportunities and strategies to explore
  • Mediate internal and client issues as necessary
  • Ensure delivery of client-focused solutions based on their goals; support the growth of clients’ businesses through new ideas, utilizing agency and network resources
  • Partner with other disciplines to hone agency workflow as necessary to meet challenges unique to the business
  • Take a proactive approach to self-development; identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and enhancement
  • Promote strong partnerships between Bounteous and our clients; establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations, including C-suite
  • Manage a team of 2-5 client service team members within the portfolio, providing both career coaching and mentorship as well as strategic account management oversight
  • Protect and grow agency revenue stream by demonstrating agency value consistently and proactively with clients


Preferred Qualifications


  • Excellent business acumen; proven ability to think strategically about business, customer experience, and technical challenges; an entrepreneurial approach to finding new growth levers for the business
  • Proven track record driving organic revenue growth
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong communicator with all levels of leadership, management, and staff to achieve desired outcomes and build strong alliances and relationships
  • 14+ years of client service or account management experience in a digital marketing/technology agency or consultancy
  • Experience managing relationships in leveraging a global delivery team
  • Outstanding executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills; the ability to inspire, engage, partner with, and influence senior leadership
  • Experience with consumer brands preferred, specifically with Consumer Goods & Services, Travel & Hospitality or Retail
  • Experience managing other client service professionals
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent consulting agency experience preferred
