The role of Vice President of Business Development and Sales with Farenexus Group is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strategic partnerships within the dynamic and competitive travel sector. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve the company's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development and sales strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and make informed strategic decisions.
- Market Expansion and Growth:
- Identify and pursue new market segments, customer segments, and geographic regions to expand the company's customer base and increase revenue streams.
- Lead initiatives to penetrate new markets, launch new products or services, and enter strategic partnerships to drive business growth.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure excellent customer service, address client needs, and maintain high client satisfaction levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, corporate partners, and other stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation and secure long-term partnerships.
- Sales Strategy Execution:
- Oversee the development and implementation of effective sales processes, pricing strategies, and negotiation techniques to close deals and maximize profitability.
- Direct team to achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and KPIs, monitoring performance and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Business Development:
- Lead negotiations, due diligence, and contract discussions to secure profitable partnerships and business arrangements.
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with other departments, such as product development and operations team, to ensure alignment and synergy across the organization's functions.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives that contribute to the company's overall success and growth.
- Performance Measurement and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to track progress towards business development goals.
- Present regular updates to the executive team and stakeholders on sales performance, market trends, and growth initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- In-depth understanding of travel industry trends, dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships.
- Proven track record of success in senior sales and business development roles within the travel industry (must have)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
