Systems Analyst, Application Delivery

What You’ll Do

Our Systems Analysts work effectively in an Agile focused team supporting our Supply Chain and EDI capabilities. You will leverage your technical skills knowledge to help the squad build stories, refine backlogs, and facilitate discussions with the Business Product Owner and Users to help with delivering the product strategy. You partner closely with architects, security engineers, operations support, and project leads, to build enterprise grade solutions.

• Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems
• Deliver quality work in an agile delivery model in a team environment
• Create and maintain product documentation and assist with epic and story management in JIRA
• Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
• Provide technical expertise to assist in issue remediation and improve controls
• Ensures proper use of the solutions by aiding users and providing support as required (may include off hours)
• Help the squad understand non-functional and functional requirements by bridging business and technical communications
• Defines application problem by conferring with clients - evaluating procedures and processes.
• Help to build cloud strategies and target state architectures.
• Controls solution by establishing specifications and coordinating production with programmers.

What You Bring

• Experience with application operating in a Mainframe/P Series platforms an asset
• Strong technical skills with experience in application development, integration, and support
• Demonstrated skills: analysis, communication, working under pressure, problem solving and critical thinking
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
• Experience with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, JIRA, and Confluence
• Working knowledge and support of TCP/IP, OS hardening, Networks, Databases and Applications
• Excellent analytics, problem solving and solutioning skills
• Experience working with x86 and Virtual Cloud environments
• Knowledge of the Incident Response lifecycle, working independently to investigate and effectively respond to cyber security incidents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Extremely organized with strong time management skills
• Experience in Linux , Windows and VMware environments
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
