We are looking for a detail-oriented and technical Financial Systems Analyst to support our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The ideal candidate will help the Senior Manager support the FP&A team through completing month-end tasks and assisting in ad-hoc requests. This candidate possesses effective communication skills, is self motivated, is highly organized to meet deadlines, can develop and maintain complex Excel models, and is eager to learn about new systems. What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist in the annual audits by compiling information and analysis, as required by auditors
• Produce clear, well-structured documentation that supports reporting needs and audit processes
• Build clear and insightful reports. Improve the financial reporting reliability, accuracy, clarity, and production time
• Understand the competitive landscape that Lightspeed competes within and assist with market analysis
• Execute month-end processes and update reports in Adaptive
• Ensure that the business processes in place enable accurate financial information and put in place necessary corrective measures in a timely manner
• Provide support on complex projects and ad hoc analysis. Contribute to the design of financial models, scenarios, and sensitivities for projects and reporting requirements. Apply models and interpret results
• Ensure timely and full reconciliation of Adaptive and NetSuite financial data
• Work on ad hoc projects as assigned; such as assessment of new business activities or change of process
• Ensure reporting processes and key controls maintain SOX compliance
• Support the development and implementation of dashboards and management reports to meet the needs of all stakeholders
• Assist with special requests from the executive team
• Participation in preparation of consolidated and non-consolidated internal management reports
• Work with the Financial Systems and Support Group to ensure timely and accurate resolution of system related issues

What You Need To Bring

• Expert knowledge in Excel is a must
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong strategic / outside of the box thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Highly motivated and can work both as a team and independently
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Workday Adaptive Planning software
• Experience with planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication to interact with all levels of management
• Minimum of 1 year experience related to Financial Analysis
• Experience with developing, maintaining and reporting results of a P&L
• Minimum of 1 year experience with NetSuite or other ERP software
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
• Detail oriented, autonomous, and able to take initiative
• Experience building financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and working with chart of accounts

Even Better If You Have, But Not Necessary

• Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx)
• Experience with other CPM/EPM tools
