Canada’s OG fintech, Interac, is looking for interns to help drive delivery of Proofs of Concept (POCs) for experimental new technologies it is vetting for future use in the projects and platforms that it brings to market. We are looking for students in computer science, engineering, or mathematics who aspire to work in software development after graduation, and who want to build experience delivering real solutions in a Technology & Operations organization now. Must Haves:

• Aspiration to work on software after graduation
• Handy at picking up new technology
• Capability to code
• Good communication skills, including technical writing
• Must be eligible to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a Full Time Capacity
• Ability to learn and work both in groups and independently

Nice to Have:

• Databases (e.g. Oracle, Azure RDBMS, MongoDB)
• A programming language like Java or Python
• Front End tooling (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with software design patterns
• A Single Page Application framework like Angular JS

PLEASE NOTE: to be eligible for Interac internship roles, the candidate must be currently enrolled in a post secondary academic institution.
