Context:
To continue IKOS’s growth in Canada, we are recruiting a Systems Integration engineer with relevant experience in railway. This person will lead systems integration activities in major projects in Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a project manager, coordinate activities between the different actors, schedule the work
- Ensure optimal systems integration with the infrastructure
- Prepare RFI, participate in design review and the development of the interface agreement
- Act as a technical leader, lead the development of the integration management plan
- Review the final technical proposal
- Act as the interface between Design Builders (DB) and Operations and Maintainer (OM) groups
- Ensure coordination and integration of the technical solutions of the DB and OM groups
Qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
- Significant exposure to signaling systems (CBTC), rolling stock and railway infrastructure systems
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Over 3 years of experience in railway systems integration
- Ideally you are authorized to work in Canada.
- P. Eng. license is desirable
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
- Strong adaptability and reactivity
- Project management experience
- Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Science or Engineering field
- Experience in full project lifecycle and V-cycle
