Skills Required:
• 8+ years experience in development and managing a technical team
• Extensive experience in working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, working effectively with aggressive deadlines and ability to cope under pressure
• Strong communication skills, with aptitude to liaise in Business Terms with Operations Partners as well as with Technical Partners and Management
• Excellent Interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Highly competent at mentoring team members as well as collaborating with stakeholders, development teams, engineers, and architects
• Ability to work independently and as well as in a Team environment
• Familiar with various systems development lifecycles (SDLC, Agile)
• Proven proficiency in using Java 8, J2EE, WebSDK ,SQL, Unix Scripting, Angular 9, Node JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring framework, Spring MVC, Spring Boot and AWS
• In depth knowledge of GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA, CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins Build / Test Configuration, Maven, JUnit, Webservices, SOAP
• Business Knowledge: An understanding of the Banking and Credit Card Industry
• Experience in Agile methodology using JIRA
• Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and deliver quality software within aggressive schedules
• A fast learner with a proven problem-solving ability and mindset
• Relationship building experience
• Ability to adapt to new technologies
• Must possess an ability to learn new skills
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship
• Must be able to work on complex projects with minimal guidance
• Flexibility to work after normal business
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Contribute to a wide range of support, maintenance and development activities including technical analysis, problem solving, troubles hooting, design, development, testing and implementation as well as providing technical mentorship to the team
• Comply with development coding standards and processes and contribute to continuous improvement
• Analyze and validate computer program specifications, submitting questions or requests for program logic changes in writing
• Prepare test data for trial runs; perform thorough program and application testing
• Evaluate the scope and impact of a programming change or enhancement on the entire system
• Maintain all compile jobs, code modules, and screens required to test programs and document requirements to move to production
• Report to the project lead with articulation and insight on all aspects of the project
• Develop and maintain all required documentation pertaining to the project
