• ESTIMATED DURATION: 40hr/week - Long term
• SALARY RANGE: $45,000 – $65,000/yr

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field;
• Additional skills: WordPress, Python, shell scripting, git, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, AWS
• Previous Financial industry experience a plus.
• Required Technical skills: React, Vue, PHP, REST, JavaScript/Ajax/jQuery, MySQL, AWS, nginx, Apache Tomcat, Docker, Linux
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position;
• Proficiency in software engineering tools; and
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• DevOps certification is a big plus,
• Experience with developing interactive, customer facing applications and websites;
• Software development foundations: solid software design patterns and scalable web service APIs principles;
• Experience with test-driven development;

What you’ll be working on
Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems;
• Design and execute full software development life cycle;
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility;
• Ensure software is updated with latest features; and
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback;
• Work with a third party team of developers;
• The role main business function is to support FE International and LTV Fund mission to build out high-quality, innovative and fully performing scalable software, complying with the highest coding standards
• Write well-designed and testable code;
• Other ad-hoc software duties as required by the business.
• Document and maintain software functionality;
• Comply with project plans and industry standards;
• You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and development of applications within the FE international and LTV Fund portfolio
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system;
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures;
