Responsibilities


With guidance from a professional engineer and our global practice network, your responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to


  • Reviewing, preparing, and modifying designs
  • Developing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs
  • Gaining exposure to project, commercial, and client management
  • Supporting our ‘Purpose’ in everything you do
  • Analyzing reports, specifications, and studies
  • Attending site inspections, investigations, and monitoring
  • Undertaking a ‘digital by default’ approach in deliverables
  • Actively participating in project, client and team meetings
  • Actively participating in our Early Careers Professionals Network

To be considered for a co-op/intern position, you will currently be working towards a master's degree or a bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, or systems engineering, with a focus on systems design (preferably rail and transit systems), from an accredited university.


We Are Looking For Students With The Following Characteristics


  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of professionals who are deeply committed to exceeding client expectations
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior relevant internships, co-ops, or practical work-experience preferred
  • Methodical approach to problem solving
