Duration: 6 - Month Contract + Ext

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

A leading Financial Institution in the GTA is looking to add a Delivery Manager to manage a Fixed Capacity budget delivery pod to ensure successful and efficient implementation of priorities broughtup by the business process owners. The delivery pod includes 3 businesses: Residential Mortgage Trading, Asset Securitization Group and Customized Solutions Group within Capital Markets. The successful candidate will come from a strong background in managing/ delivering programs in the capital markets space.

Day to Day:

• Manage stakeholders' expectations and review priorities on a periodic basis
• Lead implementation, manage budget, and ensure compliance with project governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define book of work and timelines to meet business objectives.
• Communicate critical information on project status, proactively identify risks and dependencies, track and resolve issues.
• Manage one or more small to medium deliverables. Have the domain knowledge to negotiate and influence stakeholders to deliver in the most efficient manner
• Help track implementation and resolve roadblocks to ensure efficient delivery
• Work collaboratively with the technology team to ensure business requirements and priorities are clear
• Identify and synthesize different sides of an issue, examining the full range of options and outcomes, and building frameworks to guide decisions and recommendations.
• Ensure adherence and enhancement to all delivery protocols and Agile approaches.

Requirements:

• Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Proven record of project management success, preferably in Capital Markets, in a large, complex organization.
• Strong working knowledge of delivery methodology and collaboration tools including JIRA and Confluence and using Agile approaches.
• Project management/ Scrum master experience preferred (PMP/CSM)
• Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to prioritize and handle multiple deliverables at the same time.
• Experience implementing strategies that significantly mitigate delivery risk.
