Senior Program Manager


Job location: This is a remote/hybrid position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in Canada. If you are located in Ottawa, you will be expected to work in a hybrid model with a minimum of working in the office 3 days a week.


About The Team


The GCC Operations team manages the operational processes and tools used by the department to effectively deliver a best-in-class customer experience. The Sr. Program Manager, GCC Operations will be a key contributor who works cross functionally within Kinaxis to oversee some of our most critical programs designed to support a growing customer base. This role will be integral in supporting the creation and evolution of a variety of programs to support the Global Customer Care organization through the successful deployment of both Kinaxis and partner led solutions.


What you will do


Working With a Cross Functional Team, Support The Definition, Implementation, And Rollout Of Various Programs Related To Deployment Readiness Within GCC Including


  • Report to senior management on progress including progress, risks, and opportunities
  • Define the communication and rollout strategy and execute against the communication / change management plan to gain alignment with the broader Kinaxis organization
  • Manage the process and procedure creation associated with these programs, including incorporating feedback and lessons learned for continuous improvement
  • Working with the broader GCC organization and partner organizations, facilitate the staffing of DDA resources and introduction to the deployment teams.
  • Lead the risk analysis reviews for all new name accounts to assess the need for Design & Deployment Assurance (DDA) in support of partner led deployments


Additional Responsibilities


  • Build and maintain sound relationships with internal and external customers to ensure open and clear communication and understanding of customer requirements
  • Gather and assess feedback from GCC management to identify challenges and proactively identify solutions
  • Have the ability to effectively communicate and work with teams outside of GCC (e.g. Product, Security, Legal) to drive larger scope improvements that impact the broader organization, not just within GCC
  • Research current industry trends and using that insight to form relevant, actionable solutions


What we are looking for


  • Experience working with a professional services organization and associated deployment methodologies.
  • Experience influencing others through direct or indirect relationships for program success and performance.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in building programs from the ground up including leading change management / communication activities as well as process creation and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex / technical matters to non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional Project Management and Communication skills
  • The ability to work with Sr. Leadership to define and execute against a high-level strategy that aligns with corporate objectives while delivering on organizational goals
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a Program / Project Management capacity within a fast-paced, project delivery oriented high-tech environment
  • Strong proficiency in MS tools, especially MS Excel.
