The Opportunity


The role of the Marketing Program Manager is responsible for leading projects within the Creative team to execute all project requests and work plans. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver project requests, effectively manage multiple projects from beginning to end while ensuring project deliverables fall within the applicable scope. Responsible for setting team standards, building relationships with cross-functional teams, minimizing risks on project through day-to-day management of operational aspects of project and scope.


You Are Great At


  • Manage and control project scope and the change control process.
  • Ensures that all project documentation is produced in the standard format, follows internal documentation processes and is reviewed and approved prior delivery to the client.
  • Effectively identify project requirements by translating requests and client meetings into a project plan, including but not limited to: daily small requests, major product launches, campaigns, M&As and events.
  • Communicate and report on project status, risks, and upcoming project priorities
  • Build effective working relationships with internal resquestor while driving process, standard SLA’s and creative workflows.
  • Demonstrates strong commitment to high quality production and personal work ethic, while adhering to department standards.
  • Provides a valuable source of creative problem solving production issues throughout the life of a project and engages quality assurance procedures.
  • Working with all functional disciplines on the team to determine capacity to accommodate work volumes and ensure that all work is scheduled effectively.
  • Drive project delivery through effective use of internal and client status meetings.
  • Identify and assemble the appropriate resources needed to complete project deliverables.
  • Works with the Creative Services team to complete project scoping to schedule all work.
  • Executes work on time to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest production standards.
  • Maintains file dockets including project history, approved proofs, production and prepress notes and printed materials for all projects.


What It Takes


  • 3+ years of project management experience in a consulting or agency environment or applicable experience
  • In addition, ideal candidates will have hands-on integrated marketing experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of MAC/ Windows Platforms.
  • Experience in product marketing, event project management , or managing web development projects is an asset.


Problem Resolution


  • Demonstrates excellence in brainstorming, problem solving and production skills.
  • Anticipates potential production problems, troubleshoots and provides information to company staff and outside vendors to resolve these issues.


Relationships


  • Liaises with printers, service bureaus, (web) publications and suppliers to complete print production and design projects.
  • Provides liaison support to design staff, freelance designers, departments and company employees to ensure corporate policies, guidelines and design standards are followed.
  • Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
  • Works enthusiastically and cooperatively with other designers and writers, project leads, managers, and company employees.

  • Prioritizes tasks, ensuring that departmental and corporate objectives are met. Adjusts priorities quickly in response to changing corporate/departmental goals.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, communicates and reports in a clear fashion.
  • Is able to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses excellent organizational abilities and incredible attention to detail.
  • Works well independently remotely and in an office setting with little supervision.
  • Adheres to set schedules and ensures product requirements and release deadlines are met.
  • Demonstrates business ethics. Develops and maintains professional relationships with


co-workers, printers and service bureaus.


  • Provides input into and follows departmental procedures.
