Program Manager (4008) Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Program Manager to help our client build a program plan for network segmentation to mitigate cybersecurity attacks and manage network performance within a healthcare system, including outpatient clinics and hospitals. This role requires a diverse skill set that combines cybersecurity expertise, project management capabilities, and healthcare industry knowledge.

Requirements:

Cybersecurity Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities that healthcare systems may face.

Network Segmentation Expertise:

• Ability to design and implement segmentation strategies at the edge and data center.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing network segmentation strategies to isolate critical systems and data.
• Specific knowledge of Cisco and Palo Alto network equipment for both macro and micro segmentations at the device levels.

Healthcare Industry Understanding:

• Familiarity with healthcare workflows, patient care processes, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).
• Understanding of outpatient clinic and hospital operations, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, medical imaging, and administrative processes.

Technical Proficiency:

• Comprehensive knowledge of networking technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Experience in configuring and managing Cisco and Palo Alto equipment for effective network segmentation.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

• Skill in identifying critical assets, data flows, and potential attack vectors for effective segmentation.
• Ability to assess cybersecurity risks in healthcare environments and design network segmentation to mitigate these risks.

Project Management:

• Strong project management skills to lead the development and implementation of the network segmentation program.
• Proficiency in defining project scope, objectives, milestones, and resource allocation.

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards related to data security and patient privacy.
• Ability to design network segmentation strategies that align with regulatory requirements.
• Capacity to convey the benefits of network segmentation to non-technical audiences.
• Compliance and Regulatory Considerations:
• Excellent communication skills to interact with technical teams, healthcare professionals, executives, and other stakeholders.

Change Management:

• Skill in planning for phased implementations and testing.
• Ability to manage changes to network architecture and configurations while minimizing disruption to healthcare operations.
