About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Brand Program Operations Specialist. Reporting to Shopify's Head of Brand Marketing Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of brand programs like Shopify Milestones (https://milestones.shopify.com/) and Shopify Supply (https://shopify.supply/). The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, technical and ever-changing environment and be a confident and proactive problem solver who is always seeking new ways to optimize and improve marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing process improvements and automation to optimize program KPIs effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist in coordinating purchase orders and invoices with Operations and Procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors.
  • Support the end-to-end execution of brand marketing programs like Shopify Milestones, Shopify Supply and others, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
  • Assist in tracking, reporting, and analyzing program performance, identifying trends, and suggesting improvements.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to maintain crucial program workflows from product manufacturing to shipping & fulfillment.
  • Contribute to brand campaigns and activations that build awareness of and engagement with these brand programs across social media, experiential and more.
  • Monitor and respond to internal and external inquiries, providing excellent support and ensuring a positive experience for participants.
  • Leverage Shopify products and ecosystem apps to streamline workflows and unlock operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize and execute growth plans independently.
  • Curious, resourceful, and entrepreneurial problem solver.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, formulate strategies based on data and effectively communicate them.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel
  • Marketing generalist with a solid understanding of various marketing channels.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
  • Growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Strong ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Additional Assets:
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience, such as being a Shopify merchant, Merchant Success Manager, early-stage technology crafter, or founder.
  • Familiarity with Shopify admin, digital marketing tactics and automation tools is an asset, but not required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to personal development, including relevant courses, books, or mentorship experiences.
  • Experience working with businesses focused on operational excellence or just-in-time delivery.
