The Position:
Logixx Security Inc. is currently hiring for a full time and a Full Time Security Team Lead to support our operations in the Peterborough, Ontario.
Duties:
Including but not limited to the following:
- Maintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activity.
- Monitor and document performance and behavior of officers, providing mentorship and coaching as required.
- Ensure all reports are completed and each officer submits complete and accurate reports. Follow up with inaccuracies or omissions.
- Assign guards to their posts and daily assignments, ensuring all guards follow all post orders and complete audits.
- De-escalation of situations and managing and reporting emergency incidences.
- Supervise the Security Officers assigned to the site and act as a resource for security issues in accordance with health authority and regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to guidelines and standards for security staff. Lead a team of Security Guards, including coaching and mentoring them to success.
- Handle daily administrative and paperwork.
- Conduct investigations and perform appropriate follow-ups when incidents and situations occur as required.
- Assess Control.
- Conduct site orientation and training of new officers, ensuring site orientation packages and officer review tests are completed within the allotted training period.
- Perform detailed and diligent patrols.
- Perform site patrols, desk duty, respond to all necessary calls.
- Draw up and maintain a departmental site and training schedules, ensuring that all shifts are covered.
- Schedule and conduct regular panic alarm system tests, fire drills and security education sessions without fail. Maintain records and prepare incident reports and other safety and security incident documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of security experience.
- Be able to write detailed reports.
- Must have 6 months experience in security supervisor role.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Hold Valid G Driver License.
Education:
- Police Foundation/Law Enforcement is an asset.
