Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Therapeutic Area Lead to join our growing Science team! Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Customer Therapeutics, you will lead a team of scientists and work on projects across streams. You will work closely with our Go-To-Market, or Sales, Team to actually demonstrate the impact of our technology to our current and future customers. In addition, you will also work with Product and Data teams to help identify data gaps and improve product capabilities, and work with the Discovery team to test drive new solutions.
You Will:
  • Be accountable for all data requirements and ensure they are met for each delivery.
  • Be responsible for managing and growing your own Science support team,
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the therapeutic area and BenchSci,
  • Be the lead when communicating scientific/technical product requirements for data and clients.
  • Continuously collect feedback and define opportunities to improve the development of BenchSci applications based on the proof-of-concept reports.
  • Demonstrating excellent scientific knowledge and maintaining strong and effective relationships with clients by communicating effectively.
  • Provide scientific insights to support the customer case study reports by extracting and analyzing both internal and external data.
  • Engage external stakeholders in the exchange of scientific information for the relevant therapeutic area.
You Have:
  • Scientific subject matter expertise in oncology or immunology.
  • Demonstrated people leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrated project leadership and management abilities through project scoping, resource allocation, and prioritization to meet all requirements and delivery timelines.
  • Ph.D. or MSc +3 years of relevant bench experience in life sciences (Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, etc.).
  • Experience working with large data sets and working with data processing tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Python/R, is a plus.
  • Previous experience working as a scientific liaison or in management consulting is an asset.
