The Remote Sales Specialist will play a key role in building and representing Coterie in our emerging markets. You will be the voice of Coterie across Canada. This role is the vital connection to the retail marketplace and will be critical in driving new business in new markets. We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial personality who is eager to make a big impact in the industry across Canada.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service aligning with Coterie expectations of quality and
- Build a personal clientele base by acquiring new customers, maintaining existing customers, and
- Plan and execute account calls daily
- Authenticity
- Educate customers on specific product features and benefits
- Primary focus in British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan Markets
- Retail stores
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform operational duties such as visual merchandising and any relevant activities to support
- Manage POS assets and deployment in the field
- Occasional travel to these provinces for unique and specialized events
- Retaining loyal clients
- Organize and host Product Knowledge sessions with customers and consumers
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be CannSell Certified
- Field Sales and CRM experience an asset
- Preferred 1+ year experience in the cannabis retail industry
- Must be 19+
- Clean drivers’ abstract and Criminal Background Check
- Must be available to travel domestically as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes
- Ability to establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships
- A passion for cannabis and the culture this industry has to offer
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and know when to seek guidance
- Evening, and occasional weekends
- Excellent attention to detail, taking initiative, and promotes a positive working environment
- Tasking with minimal supervision
- Most importantly, you must be outgoing, social, and charismatic!
- Ability to manage a budget, as well as track expenses and inventory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment with high degree of multi-
