Information Security Certification or Association of Certified Fraud Examiners accreditation is an asset.

10+ years of relevant experience and are equipped to provide technical leadership to a larger team portfolio.

Liaise with Site Director and Property Management

Providing exceptional service to enhance customer experience

Be proactive in helping everyone have an outstanding customer experience at the Property

Approach guests or visitors at directory boards, within building lobbies, and elsewhere to offer directions or general assistance;

Assists in preparation and management of the budget for assigned portfolio and responsible for managing margins.

A diploma in Security Management, Criminology, Health Care

Ensures site based contractual obligations are fulfilled, including but not limited to staffing requirements with a 100% shift-fill rate.

Skills and ability to lead, plan, organize, delegate and problem solve.

Proven ability to effectively supervise / manage people.

Assists in developing, implementing and maintaining security plans and high risk department evaluations. Establishes policies and procedures to support security plans.

Minimum of 1 years of security experience.

Must have 6 months experience in security supervisor role.

Handle daily administrative and paperwork.

Assign guards to their posts and daily assignments, ensuring all guards follow all post orders and complete audits.

De-escalation of situations and managing and reporting emergency incidences.

Monitor and document performance and behavior of officers, providing mentorship and coaching as required.

Assists in preparation and management of the budget for assigned portfolio and responsible for managing margins.

Proven ability to effectively supervise / manage people.

Assists in developing, implementing and maintaining security plans and elevated risk department evaluations.

Conducts risk assessments and provide recommendations for security and safety improvements.

Provides after-hours support for Security Operations within the portfolio, including providing emergency response to sites.

Performs other duties as required.

Identify and fix security vulnerabilities and respond to security breaches.

Manage and lead cybersecurity awareness training program.

Has, or is working toward, an IT professional certification such as:

Implement and maintain security controls and software.

Stay informed of emerging cyber security threats, technology, and best practices.

Has a proven track record of analyzing and synthesizing information to understand issues, identify options and support sound decision making?

· Implement and maintain security controls and technologies to protect against threats and vulnerabilities

· At least 3 years of experience in security within the technology industry

· Experience with security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, and GDPR

· Excellent communication and leadership skills

· Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus
