Job Purpose
The Sales Lead Generatorprovides support to the entire Sales Team. This role is best suited for people who are out-going, persistent and passionate about wanting to grow Universal Packaging’s business. Ideally, the candidate should have a track record of sales excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
·Partner with our outbound sales team to generate new business.
·Achieve a minimum of 50 phone calls per day when calling people remotely.
·Achieve a minimum of 8 calls per day when asked to physically call on potential customers.
·Establish strategies and best practices to generate more sales leads for the company.
·Partner closely with the Sales Manager to build the foundation of the Sales Lead Generator playbook.
·Educate yourself by utilizing internal and external data/research to determine which prospects are best to target.
·Achieve personal objectives and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
·Fully utilize Net Suite to report and track all leads generated.
·Go above and beyond delivering your sales quota to help your teammates and the company succeed.
Qualifications & Requirements
·Ideally 1-2+ years of Sales Lead Generating experience.
·Acting and behaving professionally is required while always representing the company.
·Life-long learner mindset.
·You thrive while working in a fast-paced environment where change is common.
·Self-starter and self-motivated. Little day-to-day guidance is required.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·Strong interpersonal skills and a person who can handle high rates of rejection – but keep going back.
·Experience with the wine or spirit industries is a huge plus.
·Punctual, reliable and responsible.
·Can work well in a team environment and support fellow team members.
·Excellent computer skills including MS Office suite (Excel, Word). CRM (Customer Relationship Management) experience preferred.
Working Conditions
·Full-time position in an office environment.
·Working at a computer for extended periods of time.
·Working with a phone headset for extended periods of time.
·Sitting, walking and light lifting may be required.
·Travel as required, when physically knocking on potential customer doors.
